Really nice place and lovely staff

The train noise

Fantastic rooms with AC and hot water, with a huge kitchen. The location was 10 minute walk to the centre. The hosts were very friendly and ordered us a tuktuk on the check out day also. Very great experience here, would visit again.

Very close to railway, but the trains only pass a few times a day.

It was clean, a ten minute walk to the centre where the bus stands are which was very convenient. We stayed in a family room which was very spacious and had our own porch with table and chairs. Very friendly and helpful hosts. There is a shared kitchen with a new fridge. In our room we had a fan as well as air conditioning, and a mosquito repellent room diffuser which meant we didn’t have any mosquitoes in our room at all. Overall a very pleasant stay.

It’s very close (like right next to) the train station so you can hear the loud trains go past when you’re trying to sleep sometimes, however, not many trains go by a day so this didn’t bother us.

Great location, walking distance from the beach but still secluded from the main road noise. Room was spacious and comfortable and the staff was super nice and friendly. AC works well as well as the hot shower. Price quality is great

The place is more like an authentic Sri Lankan guesthouse. It is not a Western-style hostel with AC and modern decoration, and I think that’s what makes it lovely. It’s clean. If you need something or if something is missing, you can just ask, and they will help you with it—towels, a trash can, and all that. It's a good value for me. You get what you pay. You need to be aware about the gate, so they can help you with that if you come back late.
