We do like a classic house, and all that comes with it. But an old house creaks when people move around. If that annoys you, consider before booking.

This beautiful Victorian Airbnb is gorgeous, blending historic charm with modern comfort. We’ve stayed at the Victorian multiple times & wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else! Each spacious room is spotless with comfortable bedding & thoughtfully appointed with a mix of antiques, adding a special experience to any trip. The host is communicative, kind, and clearly goes out of his way to ensure guests have a wonderful experience, offering helpful local tips & secure, remote check in. The kitchen is well-equipped, & the morning à la carte breakfast, including juice, fresh pastries, fruits & a variety of fresh single serve coffees were an added plus. There are plenty of lovely gathering areas including a gorgeous wraparound porch, multiple parlors & dining areas. This historical beauty beams with character & comfort and is the perfect backdrop for a bridal suite! The lighting, the decor, and the spacious rooms would make for stunning 'getting ready' photos and a beautiful location for a small wedding gathering. We highly recommend this unique gem to anyone visiting the area who seek an ideal alternative to a hotel or those planning a special event! Thanks, Don & Stephanie!

The self serve breakfast and coffee and availability of kitchen laundry and refrigerator space are great amenities.

It was clean. The breakfast bakery was fresh. I felt safe.

The 16-step stairway was difficult for me at age 81. Carrying my suitcase upstairs was very hard. The muted lighting in the room was too dreary. I needed a small chair in the room. The porch light was randomly on or off. It was off when I 1st arrived at 7:15 p.m. lt was spooky and made the entry code box hard to see. I had to park around the corner as the streets were being repaved, so pulling my suitcase over the rough surface in the dark was a tough go.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in this beautifully restored historic home, and it exceeded every expectation. The renovation was done with impeccable respect for the property’s architectural heritage. Every historic detail thoughtfully preserved, while seamlessly incorporating modern comforts. Too often, such updates strip away the soul of a home, replacing character with trends. Here, nothing of the original charm was sacrificed. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. Communication was prompt and friendly, housekeeping was warm and welcoming, and the entire experience felt genuinely guest-centered rather than commercial. Every detail showed care: a thoughtful breakfast with homemade pastries, a variety of quality coffees and teas, sparkling and still water readily available, and a spotless, well-kept space. The property felt extraordinarily secure, with historic doors complemented by modern locks. The neighborhood was peaceful, filled with other beautiful historic homes, and within a short distance of local retail. Its location made it easy to visit Lima, Ohio, while enjoying the quieter charm of Delphos. The downtown area is clearly on the rise, and dinner at The Mill was fantastic. As an author finishing a manuscript during my stay, the serene atmosphere was ideal for creative work. I spent hours by a lovely fireplace, surrounded by inspirational, traditionally appointed décor and beautiful local artwork. It was peaceful, inspiring, and exactly the kind of environment that nourishes both rest and creativity. This place is truly a hidden gem—lovely, clean, well-curated, hospitable, and run with genuine care for the guest experience. It was on par with some of the best bed and breakfasts I frequent in New England. I can say with certainty: any time I’m in the Lima area, this will be my one and only choice. Highly recommended!
