KABAJ Wine & Dine

Sehr idyllisch, zwischen den Weinbergen gelegenes Hotel mit herzlicher Gastfamilie. Tolle Terrasse zum Genießen der Weine. Besonders toll fanden wir die individuell angerichtete Frühstücksplatte. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder zurückkommen.

This was a hidden gem in the vineyards. The room was clean, had plenty of space and we enjoyed the balcony with a view of the vineyards. The bed and bedding were comfortable. The staff members were welcoming, extremely knowledgeable about the wines and engaging. We made dinner reservations in advance because we had read other reviews about the 7 course dinner paired with wines and were so glad we did that. The food and wines were fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Cute little room on a VERY charming vineyard. The staff were all incredibly friendly and the food was out of this world. We did the daily tasting menu and it was one of the best meals of our entire two week European trip. The place deserved a Michelin star for the creative and delicious plates, but the coziness, charm, and intimate feel made it so much better. Absolutely loved it!

Grande générosité et humour de notre hôte. L'adresse est particulièrement intéressante pour le restaurant : ne pas hésiter à choisir le menu 7 plats qui propose esthétisme et creation accompagnés de vins variés et excellents du domaine. Le cadre et les chambres complètent cette belle proposition.

This is the second time that we have stayed at Kabaj and it is just amazing! The rooms are super clean and comfy and thank god for the aircon (this week was horrible in Slovenia). The place is great to comité and visit places around or if you want to go on a trail walk. But the best thing is the dinner. Kabaj offers a 5 course meal (well actually 9 course as there are many side dishes) with their own produced wine. You can see that they care for their wines when the owner explained every wine variety and how it paired with the Michelin star-level plates. (I have been to many Michelin star restaurant and believe me Kabaj has nothing to envy them). In addition the products they use are of km zero, reducing the carbon footprint and making the most of the local products. Looking forward to go back.

They could have been more clear about the set menu. Show us in written about price and what included. On the other hand , we did not asked. The morning after we saw the meny inside.
