The location was great! - The apartment is very close (2-5 min) to several supermarkets, shopping street, Mercado dos Levradores and to Cable Car. It will take you just about 30 min to walk down from Monte. - The owners (I thought I booked a room at the hotel) met at the entrance and got the key for the entrance into the building and to the apartment. As far as I understand you can ask when you can come and you will get confirmation from the owners. There was quick response from the owners through the Booking. They are very nice people. - The bed was good, to pillows! - The kitchen is equipped with all necessary things. - I got fresh towels when I asked. - I felt very safe in this district even in the late evening time.

It was my first time in Madeira and I believed I booked a room at the hotel. So I was surprised not to find the name of the hotel/place I would stay. It was just number 39 over the door and I did not see any bell to ring. But I did not wait long before the owner invited me inside. - It was disappointing not to get changed bed-sheets or get clean apartment during 6 days - I was too tired to start washing after long walks and excursions around the island. I could maybe ask for this, but I did not. - There is a air fresher in the wardrobe. Why? All my close smell with it, I do mot like smells. It was bothering. - It was not very practical to have so big blanket for a single bed. It is too big, hanging down from the bed on the floor and I find it little hygienic. - I saw insects maybe ants around the sink and on the kitchen table. I left no food on the table, even teabags stored I in the fridge, but insects just were there. - It was reigning during my stay so I noticed that the window and the roof in the kitchen are not sound isolated. Neither the door to the apartment is sound isolated. There was a big gap.

Everything as described

Perhaps there could be a few laundry pads next to the laundry room as buying a box is too much. It could be even for a small fee.
