Vila Apolo

My room was clean, it has everything you need - bed, air conditioning, table, chair, WC, separate bathroom, lamp, hairdryer, socket next to the bed. There was also a TV in the room, but I don't watch it, so I can't say whether it was working or not. I was served a dense breakfast - hot toast with sausage, ham, cheese, fruit jelly, melted cheese, pate, juice, tea or coffee to choose from. Even natural honey was served 🍯 The reception girl was very attentive. She regularly enquired about how good the breakfast was and immediately responded to requests 💎 I read in reviews that some guests complained about the slow internet speed. When I connected to the first network, my internet was also weak, but then I connected to a network with 5G in the name and there was internet at 140 Mbit / sec. I would give a rating of 12/10 for service and facilities, 6/10 for location. But I'll definitely stay at Vila Apolo next time I come to Belgrade 😃

Unfortunately, Vila Apolo Hotel isn't the most convenient location. It is located in Zemun, quite far from the banks of the Danube and Sava. There is regular public transport to the city centre and the nearest stop is about 5 minutes walk away. At the time I stayed at the hotel ( mid month of July 2023 ) there were also 1-2 guests in the hotel. I believe that the location of the hotel has a negative impact on its traffic.

I like that it was in a quite location, the bus connects the area well to the main centre. The staff although didnt speak English. was very nice. In fact I really appreciate the fact that on the last day when I didnt have enough local currency to go back to the airport ( I had only 1000 RSD, the normal taxi fare is about 2500 RSD) they just took what was available and dropped me to the airport. I couldnt use my credit card as the number connecting my phone to my credit card stopped working. hence this was really nice on their part. the room was clean and good for stay for few days. In the given prices, its a complete value for money

Although, it was as shown in the picture, I didnt expect it to be very small. if you just come to sleep, this is fine because you just need a bed anyway. I also wish I could communicate with the staffs better. they were very nice despite the language barrier

Hotel's personal was very hospitable. Continental breakfast was enough and good!

we been in 5 persons and the staff has provide us a large room for my kids and very good "suite" for me and my partner. everything was very very good! you're 20 mins walk from "Zemun" center wit a lot of services around. from the Old Beograd cernter you're 20 mins drive but there are plenty of public transports too. Not all the staff speaks english but they been always friendly to advise us for a good restaurant.
