Ichnusa Rooms

Very clean and new hotel. There were enough towels and amenities.

Even though it is located 15-20min to cagliari center, you walk within a residential area that is not so lively and dark at night. Also there are hills so not an easy walk.

The room is well located if you want to move around, but it is not very central. It is a long uphill walk to get to the nice streets that are more lively.

Very clean and new room / bathroom. Extemely comfortable bed and sheets. Located on a quiet street. A little out of the hustle of Cagliari but close to bus stops and walkable to most parts of the city centre. Host was extremely helpful, responsive (via WhatsApp) and went above and beyond including offering early check in and arranging for our bags to be stored after check out.

We found it difficult to interpret the instructions for check in and to open the door initially (as there are multiple keys but no instructions on which key opens which doors), but once we figured it out, it was easy from there. Each time we had difficulty, the host was extremely responsive. They don’t change towels unless you stay 7 days (or with a fee). It was fine for our 2 night stay but I think it could be annoying for a longer stay.

Ichnusa is excellent value for money. The room was just as depicted in the photos, it was clean and spacious.

There is nothing really to mention.

Very tidy and modern room, located in the city center. Good location for exploring the city, and a walking distance from the train station. Easy check-in, the code for key pick-up was given in advance, so there were no issues with our late arrival hour. Very helpful host who provided us with guides containing all details about the city monuments, beaches, renting a car, restaurants, etc.

Easy access to Calamosca (Bus 511 from Bank of Sardegna) as well as the port and St Remy's Bastion (15 min walk). Quick and easy check-in and check-out.
