- really nice owners, good communication - beautiful house, really clean - tasty croissants and coffee for breakfast in a gorgeous garden - great location, super close to the train station and the old town

- bed a bit uncomfortable, pillows too - the street under the windows is pretty busy, so it is rather loud from it in the room (even in the night) - we always managed to find a public parking spot on the close street, but it needed always some searching. Also many nearby streets are being washed once per week, so be aware of the signs - not to get your car towed.

This place is lovely. Bear in mind it is not a full service hotel wth a lot of staff.. It is a family's lovely elegant traditional home. There is no restaurant but there are delicious croissants and espresso in the morning, and many restaurants within an easy and quick walk. The house is spotless. The beds are very comfortable with delicious Italian cotton sheets. The owners" daughter Silvia was running the place because they were on vacation, and she was very nice. It was so quiet inside, I thought I was the only one there, when in fact there were 10 other guests, Mostly italians, so it is not touristy. One thing to bear in mind. The ceilings are about 15 feet high, which means, long staircases to carry a heavy bag up! I imagine if I am ever back in Certaldo, I will book Cosseta Guest House again.

Our host Sylvia communicated with us prior to arrival and was there to greet us, she was so friendly and welcoming and offered lots of information about the area , she even went with me to purchase a train tix as we were having trouble communicating with the sales person. The guesthouse is a beautiful period family home with a lovely garden to enjoy. An easy flat walk to the station and all that Certaldo has to offer.

Difficult to say. Maybe the historic ambience.

Old palazzo. Looks impressive from the outside, but inside it shows its age. The room on the top floor was not worth the money we paid. The bathroom was tiny, with an even tinier shower cabinet. The toilet functions via a pump, generating funny noises and the walls are rather 'thin' (you can hear every word of the other room).

Obsługa, porządek, jakość i stan obiektu jest perfekcyjny!
