The Richmond Café and Rooms

The facilities are old but display classic characteristics of that era. It is well preserved, yet equipped with all amenities offered in a modern B n B. The lamb chops and breakfast were among the best experiences I have had on my 40 years of traving. The town itself is worth a visit.

Be careful with the cobblestone path.

We were so pleasantly surprised by this adorable town and incredible property! Klaradyn and her team went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room was not only well-equipped but it was also exceptionally decorated; we appreciated all of the thoughtful and artistic touches. We ordered pizzas from the restaurant for dinner and they were delicious!

Despite a fire and electric heating, we did feel a little bit cold in some parts of the room; but being a large family room at a very cold time of year, it made sense. The staff still did their very best to make us comfortable.

This is a beautiful, comfortable place to stay on your way to the Cape. The rooms are exceptionally beautiful and all you need is there. I just love white bedrooms. Bathrooms are fantastic. Thank you for the delicious Karoo lamb waiting for us after a long drive. You even lit a fire. Much appreciated. Thank you.
