The view; location

The room wasn’t ready at our arrival and gave us another room; we weren’t the only guests with this problem during that day; it seems that the cleaning lady totally omiited to clean the rooms; for me this is a negative one for this basic type of thing.

Room was big enough, staff was very friendly and polite. Everywhere it was very clean. Pool was amazing.

The bed was too high. I think they calculated initially a different mattress type, then they changed to a double thick mattress. As an adult it was difficult to get on/off the bed. Our 4 year old was unable to climb in/out from the bed. In the room it was terrible hot - even we turned off the heaters (as best as we could), it was still hot that we had to open the balcony window every 30-40 minutes in the first night. The second night was better (not sure if we finally managed to tune the heaters or it was something they did) - of course it is better to be warm than cold, but this time was too hot - perhaps some electronic thermostat can be installed. The room was quite dark (after the sunset) - mainly because thee is a lot of wood painted dark and the lights might not be enough powerfull - is not a very important thing but this can also be inproved.

Very welcoming the staff, super good food, super hot rooms in winter (for me is mandatory 😅)

Quiet location in the middle of the hills, surrounded by forests, big territory, nice view, clean stables, a piece of America in Romania. Very interesting for those in love with horses.
