Ramsgate Ocean View

From the moment we arrived, this guesthouse in Ramsgate was simply stunning. While the view was lovely, what truly sets this place apart is the extraordinary attention to detail, which elevates the entire experience far beyond a typical stay and into a class of its own. Everywhere you look, there's a thoughtful touch waiting to be discovered. The welcome was complete with cappuccinos and a generous supply of rusks, making us feel instantly at home. In the lounge, we found soft, rolled-up lap blankets—a small detail that speaks volumes about the care provided. Our towels were adorned with a fresh flower. It's these little thoughtful amenities that truly made our trip unforgettable its like staying at a five-star hotel, but with the personal warmth and charm of a private home. The service was incredibly friendly, the shower pressure was excellent, and the little notes placed around the guesthouse added a personal touch that made everything feel effortless. This is more than just a place to stay; it's an immersive experience in hospitality. We were super impressed and can't recommend it highly enough.

The sound of the rolling waves, gentle drops of rain and distant sounds of frogs chirping in the background was absolute tranquility. The view is just breathtaking. Absolute value for money! We will definitely go back.

The owners have controlling tendencies, they are unbelievable rude, on 2 occasions we were threatened with security, and held hostage by the owner, for cigarette buds, and stained linen, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, we came for a vacation, and ended up very disappointed, we were spoken down to, and screamed at by the owner who constantly reminded us that it’s her property like we don’t know that, on one occasion the own even said “do you want me to take you upstairs like a little child, I honestly didn’t know whether she wanted to put me in the naughty corner for messing the sheets, if we were told prior to bring our own linen, maybe things could have been different, because you can’t expect squeaky clean linen, after it’s been slept on for 2 days.

The accommodation was conveniently located near shops, beach and other amenities. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was most gracious and helpful.

Nothing to report - the place was fabulous.
