Ranjith Guest

Sanjee and Ranjith were lovely hosts. Sanjee took such excellent care of us, making a lovely breakfast and also preparing a takeaway breakfast when we had to leave early for the airport. Nothing seemed too much trouble for her and she was helpful and kind. Ranjith was very helpful and kindly took us to coconut hill in his tuktuk. The stay was peaceful and comfortable. Thank you so much.

Ranjith und Sanjee sind unglaublich liebe und herzliche Gastgeber. Wer ein traditionelles Zuhause erleben möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Das Essen wird täglich frisch zubereitet, und es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Besonders das abwechslungsreiche Frühstück mit immer neuen Gerichten zum Probieren hat mir sehr gefallen. Auch die Cooking Class mit Sanjee kann ich nur empfehlen – sie erklärt alles sehr verständlich und spricht ausgezeichnet Englisch. Für uns war das eines der Highlights auf Sri Lanka. Ranjith hat uns mit seiner guten Laune begeistert und uns zuverlässig überall mit seinem Tuk Tuk hingefahren. Besonders schön war auch, dass man in diesem Haus andere Familienmitglieder kennenlernen kann, was dem Aufenthalt eine persönliche Note gibt. Die Zimmer waren sauber und mit warmem Wasser ausgestattet. Alles in allem war es ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt mit herzlichen und freundlichen Menschen.

Leider hat das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss kein großes Fenster, sodass es auf den ersten Blick etwas dunkel wirkt. Stromausfälle können jederzeit vorkommen, und einen Föhn gibt es wie in vielen Unterkünften nicht. Ich wollte das nur kurz erwähnen.

La estancia ha sido perfecta. Los dueños son una pareja encantadora, cuidando todos los detalles. Habitación con aire y agua caliente, limpísima (no hemos visto dentro ni una mosca, algo bastante poco común en Sri Lanka) y con una relación calidad precio insuperable. El desayuno es bueno y abundante e incluso mientras desayunábamos el dueño nos limpió el tuktuk. No se puede pedir más!

Incredibly kind hosts! We stayed for 3 nights and it felt like home from the start. Everything was taken care of and we already miss this place.

The two welcoming hosts surprised me with their friendly and attentive manner. They were very helpful. I was driven to yoga class every day by tuk-tuk. If I had any questions, they did their best. The food was a delight. I will book this peaceful homestay again on my next visit. Thank you very much, Günter.

Ranjith and his wife Sanjee were the friendliest hosts. We booked it last minute and arrived very late yet Ranjith met us and gave us some welcome hot tea. Sanjee asked us personally what we would like for breakfast and made a delicious one. They are both just very very sweet and kind people that would help you with everything. They really do their best to make you feel at home. We asked if we could keep our medicine in their fridge and it wasn't a problem for them at all. They also can give you some useful advice about where to go and what to see in Mirissa or nearby. So if you are an open person looking for a stay with a nice family, this is a great option.

Ranjith and Sanjee are the loveliest people and they will do anything to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. We could ask anything and they tries to solve it, even if we had a special request about driving a tuktuk;-). Sanjee is a great cook and would definitely eat here instead of in the overcrowded town. And Ranjith will drive you anywhere for very reasonable prices if he has the time! We were sad to leave and would really recommend staying here!!
