Lavender mirissa

the host family was very helpful and kind in any aspects. We are very grateful for their hospitality and attitude. The location is just great, many restaurants nearby and is only 12-15 min walk from Mirissa beach. All facilities were great and people in this area are very kind. Easy to catch a tuktuk and negotiate the price.

Nice place near beach (Turtle beach, you can see the Coco hill from there) and near Mirissa. Next to the balcony live monkeys. Nice hosts who accommodated us even before check in.

Highly recommend! Stayed at this family-run guesthouse/hotel for one month. Zero issues. The room (with balcony overlooking a backyard) was spacious, clean and quiet. King size bed was comfortable and protected by a mosquito net. Really neat! Ample sized bathroom with hot/cold water. The fridge is in the common area downstairs. Room cleaning on demand. There's also a restaurant on premises that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The owners and staff are super friendly and accomodating. Can arrange a reasonably priced taxi wherever you might need to go. Any other questions and concerns are eagerly answered and helped with pronto. Very laid-back atmosphere overall. Right outside of the hotel on the main road there are two fruit stands, a masage salon and a couple of good mom&pop grocery stores. Easy access (3-5 min) to the ocean and Coconut Tree Hill. Mirissa Beach is a 13 minute walk. Evening/night time the area is pretty quiet as all nightlife happens ~2 km down the main road. Definitely worth the money!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The family hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, spacious and very clean.It’s also perfectly located, just a short walk to the beach, with nice view from the balcony that made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

We booked here for 1 night and ended up staying for 10 :-) thats how great this place is!Super comfy,clean,stylish room(exactly as on the photos!) with balcony and a bathroom with hot shower!It must have been recently refurbished as everything seemed new.It's a paradise in a paradise! :-)We had a fan&AC in the room but most nights we just left the window open and slept for the sound of the waves.5-10 min walk to the beach,a nice juice bar just next door and the best ice cream across the street,so we liked the location too.Make sure you try Mirissa Inn restaurant down the street,you wont regret it. It was very close the Coconut Hill-Sunset bar and about 10 min walk from Mirissa center.We tried their Sri Lankan breakfast a few times,it was delicious!We also had a tuktuk ride with them,it was great!Such a lovely,friendly family run guest house with amazing quality of service for a great price!Highly recommended!We will be back for sure! :-)
