Location is great close to the beach, but far enough away from the ‘noisier’ area. The housekeeper chap was really friendly with a constant smile and gave excellent advice in very good English.

The lack of a/c was an issue I closed the doors to keep mozzies out at night but it was stifling. The fan was fine immediately beneath it, but otherwise very hot. Cooled down in the shower the sweating again with minutes.

Can’t recommend this place enough - Roshani and Nishanka were the most accommodating people ever. The food was amazing, the location is so beautiful, and the hospitality is even better. We had lunch on arrival - the best jackfruit I have ever had! Roshani and Nishanka took us out for sunset trip to a rock in the village followed by food by the bonfire. It was so magical being surrounded by the sounds of nature all day and night. Roshani arranged a sunrise canoe which was the most special start to our day in the most special place in Sri Lanka. Roshani also helped arrange travel and jeep pickup for udawalawe safari afterwards. You should definitely stay here and support small local friendly businesses! Staff were extremely helpful coordinating taxis, laundry, and other miscellaneous tasks.

Lovely property. Clean, modern and spacious! Location was great and a lovely surprise watching the monkeys swing from the trees from the bed out of the balcony!

Could have done with 1 more fan in the room as was just a little too warm for me

Good location

There was no safe nor air conditioning. We found it very hard to sleep at night as it was so hot. It also smelt very odd in the bathroom. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable.

Very homely and friendly. Close to the beach and plenty of restaurants/cafes. Seemed good value for money.

We had booked here specifically for the yoga offered at the time but unfortunately the instructor was unable to accommodate.

The backyard was amazing, there were so many different animals. The staff was so helpful and nice!

Very spacious room, near Coconut Hill, great breakfast, nice people.

Far from the centre

The room was spacious and comfortable, sea view balcony was a nice addition to spend evenings. Host very generous and accommodating when we had to shorten our reservation due to lack of AC. Fan unfortunately wasn’t enough with the heat at night.

It’s next to the main road with very loud traffic noise and buses honking at all times. Sleeping only with ear plugs.
