Suriya Homestay Mirissa

Such an amazing homestay experience! We really feel at home here, very clean and spacious!The room is 100% the same as the photos Sirius has posted. They are really helpful and give correct advice about the restaurants,sunset view points and sea view points! We also like the breakfast which is well prepared!

De ligging was super: dichtbij de hoofdstraat van Mirissa, maar ook op korte afstand van Weligama om te surfen. Secret beach was voor de kinderen heel erg leuk, van alles te doen. Daarnaast was de familie super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wij zaten vast door de oorlog in het Midden Oosten en ze hebben heel fijn geholpen en waren erg flexibel. We waren met 2 volwassenen en 3 kinderen. De kamers lagen zo dat de kinderen op een eigen kamer konden, dat was ook erg fijn. Het ontbijt was erg goed en we hadden ook koffie/thee en een koelkast op de kamer. Lekker veel ruimte, handdoeken voor het strand, ook emmertje/schepjes om mee te nemen. Zeker weten een van de beste plekken van onze vakantie.

Worth for staying , every small things taken care for guest by owner.

Wir waren drei Nächte dort und wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und haben uns bei vielen Sachen geholfen. Wasser kann man direkt in der Unterkunft kaufen. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und geräumig. Das Frühstück war auch immer sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich.

I like the breakfast that was served every morning. The location is 10 mins away from the beach, following the small trail near the villa. It is also away from all the beach clubs so it is quiet at night. Many restaurants are nearby and the bus stop is just outside which we can ride to Weligama.

It is still a distance from a beach. So if you book this villa, you have to prepare to travel a little after some surfing or snorkeling. And tuk tuks are not very responsive on the apps in Mirissa, so you have to prepare to walk or just hail a tuk tuk to the accommodation. It will be good if the villa has some contacts that we can use to fetch us around throughout the days.

Merci beaucoup pour l'accueil exceptionnel. Emplacement idéal. Des hotes d'une grande gentillesse. Des repas préparés sur demande qui sont très bons sans parler des petits déjeuners. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Our family room and terrace was just lovely. The beds were so comfortable. The host family were very kind and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was delicious and varied and the dinner we had was laid out as private dining on our terrace. You couldn’t get better service in a 5 star hotel. Also convenient for Mirissa Beach and harbour. Also the price was very reasonable indeed. We highly recommend.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Peaceful place away from busy touristic street of Mirissa, Suriya and family were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and terrace outside the room was lovely
