A very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The staff were lovely and cooked us a delicious dinner. We were tired from a long travel day so the comfy bed and air conditioning were perfect for our stay. Can’t beat the views either!

The view is good. If you are looking a place with good view outside the room, you will like it. Otherwise, there are a lot of better choices. The owner can drive you to the Pidurangala Rock in early morning at a reasonable charge of money.

There’s barely any wifi connection in the room, no bottle of water/ kettle is provided. The biggest problem is the location as many tuk tuk drivers refused to go to that area after dark. According to some of them, an elephant incident happened in that area recently. And it’s not safe to walk after sunset, so really need to think carefully before booking.

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr schön und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet, umgeben von viel Grün. Man hat einen direkten Blick auf den Lion’s Rock. Das Personal ist außerordentlich zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Die Betreiber geben sich wirklich große Mühe. Man kann direkt auf der Hotelveranda frühstücken, die ein sehr schönes Flair hat, und abends dort ein Bier genießen.

Die Zimmer und das Bad sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Ohne Fahrer hätten wir das Hotel nie gefunden. Es liegt sehr abseits, aber traumhaft ruhig und mit super Blick auf den Lion´s Rock.

Great location with views of Sigiriya rock. The staff were so nice and friendly and we enjoyed the dinners and breakfast they cooked for us. They also organised a jeep safari which was fantastic.

Secluded hotel with impressive view of the Sigiriya Rock. Comfortable clean room and bathroom. Hosts were accommodating, provided an pre-dawn short cut travel to the Sigiriya Rock entrance via their jeep.
