Sigiri Close-up View Guest

This was a wonderful place to stay while traveling in the unfamiliar area of Sigiriya. The location between Sigiriya Rock and Pidurangala made it very easy and convenient to visit both sites. Since there were no restaurants nearby, it was great to have clean and delicious breakfast and dinner provided. Above all, the warm hospitality of the host couple made the stay truly special

The view from the property is incredible. You can’t beat the view. the family that runs it is incredibly sweet, and the kids are so fun! The food was excellent, too. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

I had a fantastic stay at Sigiri With a Close Up View Guest House. It’s a family owned place, and from the moment I arrived, I felt so warmly welcomed. Their kindness and genuine hospitality made the stay truly special. My room had everything I needed; clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. The property itself has such a peaceful atmosphere, tucked away in nature, yet the location couldn’t be better: just a short walk to Sigiriya Rock, with the most incredible close-up view right from the garden. Listening to the forest wake up in the morning and watching the rock change colors throughout the day was unforgettable. It’s quiet, calm, and the perfect place to recharge after exploring. The family was always around if I needed anything, yet it never felt intrusive — just genuinely caring and welcoming. I left feeling rested, grateful, and already looking forward to coming back. If you’re looking for the perfect mix of comfort, peace, an unbeatable view, and the warmth of a family home, this is absolutely the place to stay in Sigiriya.

Estuvimos alojadas en la cabaña, un sitio espectacular con vistas directas a Lion Rock. La habitacion limpia, con Aire acondicionado y un baño muy original. Un espacio tranquilo donde relajarse. La familia que lo llevaba encantadora y muy atenta. Muy recomendable.

Wow what an amazing family retreat near to lions rock. The view to the rock is amazing. Met with smiles that lasted all our stay. Food evening meal was delicious, tasty and plentiful.
