The younger daughter helps run the guest house and she was super helpful, chatty and friendly😊 Brought us a lovely cold drink on arrival. Poppy the dog was also super cool!

Our WiFi wasn’t very strong but wasn’t to much of a problem.

We had a great stay here. The environment around the room was absolutely stunning and our room was comfortable.

The staff was great but not very present within our stay. Unfortunately our room had only one problem which was the fact that our windows didn’t close letting all the mosquitoes in.

It is a property run by a nice family. They were really welcoming. We were thoroughly taken care of. Thru, the son even took us for a safari in his Jeep for a reasonable price. If we ever come back to Sigiriya, we will definitely stay here again.

The good shower can be more better.

Amazing room, clean and a nice (warm) shower! The bed was big and comfortable. No AC but the large ceiling fan made it quite chilly at night. The family is super lovely and we did the Safari tour with them. Good experience and would recommend everyone to stay here!

Might be a bit hard to reach without your own vehicle (especially at night), but taxis are around and I bet the owners will help you out with this!

The most enjoyable homestay ever (and we had some other very nice ones in Sri Lanka and Cuba). A positive atmosphere and extremely nice hosts: friendly and helpfull. They also took care of transport. The location is good; we stayed here as homebase to visit the Sigiryia Rock, Dambulla and Polonnaruwa. Excellent food - tasty, healthy and affordable. So far unsurpassed at the island, not in homestays nor in restaurants. We booked the "family room", which was very spacey.

Amazing hospitality and lovely peaceful location. Was great to walk into the town daily and walk back. Food was delicious, there isn’t anything to fault about Jaana Guest. Highly recommend!

Hosts were a lovely family! Great breakfast in the mornings! The room was what we expected basic but all we needed! Tharu the son took us on an amazing safari for a great price, we were so lucky to see 50+ elephants including many baby’s, all because of his knowledge of the park!

We had the most lovely 3 nights at Jaana Guest. Jaana and his wife were so welcoming and kind, they made delicious breakfast and dinner for us everyday. The room was so spacious, comfortable and clean and we had a lovely porch outside with a little table where we would eat. Location is lovely and quiet and an easy short tuk tuk ride or 30 minute walk into town which is a lovely walk to! Their son did the best elephant safari for us also so make sure to ask about that!! Thank you for an amazing stay!
