Uptown Guesthouse

This is the best accommodation for a family like ours. It has a clean and spacious room with a sink and free mineral water. There is one table inside and outside the room. A clothes rack is also provided in the balcony for drying clothes. There's a common sink to wash some clothes. In just 10 minutes by foot, a beautiful public spring and beach can be enjoyed.

Nothing. There were electricity power interruptions but a power bank is provided just in case.

The room is super clean, comfortable and has everything you need with purified water, drying rack, etc. The mani San Juan street is a few minutes walk away but the guesthouse offers good scooters to rent to explore the island. Besides the accommodation itself, the staff is beyond helpful and were of great support to us with a medical issue, accompanying us to nearby facilities and translating… definitely one of our favourite place to stay in our trip. We had a lovely stay at Upwtown guesthouse, Justin was so welcoming and answered any questions we had as well as helping us in any way he could. The guesthouse is located in a quiet area and is only a short walk away from restaurants and the beach. The room was comfortable and clean and very spacious. I really couldn’t recommend uptown guesthouse enough it was perfect

Very nice stay with large room and good a/c. Amazing host who did their best to accommodate every our request. They rent a good new scooter (best bike we had on Philippines) for a reasonable price. Good location if you have bike otherwise you have to climb a small hill to get back walking

No that the host can do anything about it, but just to mention that it’s located in area with many roosters who regularly woke us up around 4 am :)

The location is not bad but it’s not the best. There are Power outages from time to time and the room gets really hot

Perfect value for the price.

Great economical option within walking distance of San Juan beach and Capilay Spring Water Park. Close to many restaurants, mini markets, and more. They provided an in-room water cooler and a free refill water garrafón - very nice! Justin greeted us with a smile and took care of our needs (water replacement, fresh towels, arranged transfer to ferry terminal, ...). Super clean, AC and WiFi worked well. Having a kettle for tea/coffee was great. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay here, the room was spacious, had everything we needed and good AC. The staff were lovely, it is walkable into town or you can rent bikes to explore the island which was great value.
