Pension Gerlach

The property was cosy and welcoming the staff were very friendly and helpful despite a language barrier, we communicated with the help of our mobiles, the host went out of his way to pick us up from the bus stop when the weather turned inclement (snow)

Their were no coffee/ tea facilities in the room but host supplied us with a flask of hot water mugs and tea bags so we were able to make tea ourselves,

It was absolutely fabulous! We had the smallest room which was really great size, with a view over snow-covered fields, a dream come true. The breakfasts in the lovely breakfast room was wonderfully warm, cozy and friendly. We met nice people. The hosts were super. Highly recomment this establishment.

The room could have been a bit warmer, but this is Germany, and people feel you should wear warm clothes in winter!!! Americans don't share that thought, so be prepared, take something warm along for when you want to hang out in your lovely room.

Outstanding staff and service. Comfortable and quiet. Clean towels each day. Great location.
