Mantra Guesthouse Sidemen

I really enjoyed my stay here! There was a really nice view from the patio and you could also see Mt Agung from some parts of the balcony when the weather permitted. It would have been nice if they put a whatsapp number to text to order breakfast but I really loved getting breakfast on the patio. The ladies that served me were really nice and helpful. They gave 2 bottles of water a day.

At times there was loud music coming from the store next door, for being out of the way youre still on a fairly travelled road so traffic noise could still be fairly loud that would die down in the night Some dog would love to go nuts barking at the wee hours of the night. For these reasons I think that is why they put ear plugs in the rooms. Hahahaha There wasn't any room service that happened during my stay.

We loved our stay at Mantra Guesthouse. And what an amazing view! Having breakfast in the morning looking over the fields and mountains is just amazing. The girls who work here are lovely and super helpfull. We rented scooters at Mantra as well. We had a little problem with one of the scooters, but when we texted they straight away replied and within 10 minutes they brought us a new scooter. What a great service! Thank you for everything!

Some nights it could be quite loud outside, with dogs barking and some music. The room is provided with earplugs though ;)

The location was good, bed was comfy too. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was offered but we didn’t use it

The room was way too hot. At the time of booking we didn’t realise there wasn’t air conditioning and it was unbearably hot, even when it was fairly cool outside the room was just too hot. The fan provided did absolutely nothing. We often kept the windows open too which was a mistake as a 6 inch lizard got into the room which was a struggle to get out. The bathroom had a massive open whole too so lizards frequently got in the bathroom Also could’ve provided a kettle

The view from the room is amazing! The room is just on the top of the rice fields. Peaceful and stunning. One of the best room view we had in Bali. The breakfast that is included is fulfilling and delicious. It’s served on the balcony by the staff. Regarding the personal, the staff is lovely. After the check out they allowed us to leave for half a day our backpacks and we could rent for half day scooter. About the area, is surrounded by really nice options of locals restaurants, and super closed to the rice terraces.

Very basic stay as you might expect for the price but my issue was with the noise - it's right on the street so it's very loud all day from the motorbikes and the mosque is nearby and they sing for hours until 10:30 pm. If you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. It's good that it's walking distance to many great restaurants and cafes. Also, nice view from your terrace and decent breakfast and coffee. Staff is very kind and helpful.

No common areas. You can find slightly more expensive places nearby that have some garden space and even a pool.

Beautiful room with a terrace in front of a rice field. Breakfast il delicious you’ll have 3 options. I love pancakes so had banana pancakes, Bali coffee and pineapple juice. Love it! The guesthouse helped me to rent a bike for half day to have a look around. I was in the center of sidemen I could walk around it but I wanted a little around. Staff is fast replying, extremely gentle and professional. Position is perfect as there are a lot of warungs around. All considered lovely place and good price!

The room was much nicer than I had expected. The view from the bedroom/balcony was stunning, I was blown away by it. Has to be one of the best accommodation views I’ve had whilst in Indonesia. Great value for money, with a good breakfast included. Also, the owner is really nice.

Close to food places (walking distance). Beautiful view from the balcony. Very nice room. Pleasant and cheerful hosts who will organise transport and activities for you. Brilliant breakfast.

Noisy surroundings at night - lots of loud talking.
