Anchorage Guest House, St Ives

It’s a beautiful 17th Century house in a superb location. We were a minute’s walk away from the Main Street where you can find all the shops, bars etc, and of course the seafront. The room was comfortable and had great facilities, and the self service check in was easy to follow. The home made flapjacks are absolutely delicious too!

Parking in St Ives is almost impossible. We couldn’t get a parking spot in any of the nearby car parks and ended up at the Rugby Club which is a good 25 min walk away - uphill as well! We had to get a taxi back when we left as it was lashing down with rain and would have been a real trek with all our luggage. (Approx £7 so not too expensive).

Was a very enjoyable stay.so near to the beach and all the restaurants .

If you have a disability there are a few steps to master and may be a rail in the shower just to give a bit of support.....

The property was stunning Amanda was very welcoming. The location could not have been better we look forward to booking to stay here again. Great value for money. Oh and the flapjacks tasted great
