"Convenient stop off before the ferry"

Friendly staff, clean, comfortable room.

One concern was that as I had to leave early in the morning (to catch a ferry which had moved to an earlier time) the staff member I spoke to at check in said no problem - just leave your key on the front desk. But when I got to the room there were signs up saying that the key MUST be returned to a member of staff or I could be liable for the cost of replacement (and the quoted figure for this was high) which was a bit unsettling.
