Lunar Dive Resort

Great quiet hotel with a few rooms and lovely pool. Great location to dive from as the sites are just minutes from the hotel. Great dive operation with the best rental gear we’ve had in SE Asia so far. Nice and professional guides with full 60 min dives.

Unfortunately, as it is the lower season the staff wasn’t ready for a last minute booking or walk in. The bathroom wasn’t clean which I easily sorted out but the kettle has mold and worms inside which was not comforting.

Great place and location, clean, and with very friendly staff. Pieter and Elsa are amazing hosts with great advice on the area, and the staff are friendly and attentive - both for the accomodation and diving. Well-equipped dive shop and good prices on diving too, especially for those who stay with them. Would definitely stay again.

Near the diving centers, breakfast was included, the staff was very friendly, the rooms are big with a big balcony and the pool was also very cool

The AC wasn't working properly, we had it at the minimum temperature and still was a bit hot in the room

I like that the staff is easy to communicate and the room is reasonably priced and comfortable and big for its price.

The bathroom set-up can be improved because the water from the shower is not contained but overall okay to use.

-dedicated resort set up for diving so easy to wash scuba gear. Bathroom with shampoo and soap, hot water and a good water pressure, feels great after a dive. -big rooms with plenty of space inside and outside to relax and a drying rack. -all kept spotless by the hardworking team -quiet location within walking distance to Liberty wreck -appreciated to have a water filter, kettle, fridge and next door to indomaret super convenient -good breakfast

Good location for diving and snorkeling. Decent breakfast for the price range - fresh fruit, eggs, toast with jam and butter, coffee. Convenience store with ATM nearby. The pool is cool too. Upper floor units are sunny, lower floor units are more in the shade and cooler temps. The bed was ok. WiFi was ok.

We really got unlucky with bathrooms here. The first room assigned had no door for the bathroom - not by design, it was just missing. Not great for privacy and odor containment. AC didn’t work and being on the second floor, the sun heated the room a lot. We asked to change. The other room had a bathroom door and the AC worked, but there was a weird chemical smell in the bathroom. Traced it to some naphthalene tablets left on the floor - pesticides. Took those outside. After some time, that smell evaporated, but some other weird smell remained. Not like toilet smell, something like a powerful cleaner, but quite unpleasant. Was too tired and didn’t bother complaining. Should have done that, in retrospect, because the smell did not clear out. Otherwise it’s a decent budget option. Close to the road so noise is there, but it’s similar to white noise.

Nice spot, nice staff and comfortable bed.

Our room was the closest to the road so a bit loud, and toilet was a bit stinky but seemed to be the sewage rather than bad cleaning. It still felt clean.

Location, ability to dive, good staff

Very minor, but the shower drain in Room 3 was slow. Just resulted in a wet floor, nothing a towel didn’t fix
