Location , behaviour of the staff, view from the Ganges view room, peaceful

The facilities were very basic, breakfast included in the package was minimal like bread-butter-jam and tea

The river view is very good .

Staff were not very cooperative.

Not VMF, staff polite but very not friendly, the room is full of spiders and spider webs, room is very big but there is no need for it.

toilets are broken .. shoes is not allow through property although there is no enough sleeper .. no water no electric kettle or any complimentary tea or coffee .. they will give only one time useble toilet paper with very small rolls.. included breakfast was very limited and if its about finish they will no refill it either refresh it .. mostly suitable to foreigners .. they are very nice to them ..

Everything about the property and staff is good.

Only suggestion is the food service can be made better.

Everything else was utterly appalling. I've stayed in many hundreds of hotels all over the world over the last 30 years, from budget to 5 star. This hotel is EASILY the worst I've ever stayed in .... EVER! 1. They demanded CASH payment on arrival, despite their own booking.com payment details stating "Pay on Arrival" using "Visa, Mastercard, Amex" etc etc. They point blank denied that they accepted card payment, even when I showed them my confirmation which clearly stated that they DID accept card payment. 2. I was told to find an ATM or simply go elsewhere, neither acceptable when I'm tired from a sleepless overnight train journey. 3. Every other guest I spoke to grumbled about this. One tourist was so annoyed he went to the Tourist Police, who were wonderful. They contacted the hotel and told them they must honour their own policy. To which a card machine miraculously appeared for that guest! 4. "Breakfast Included" - what a joke! You could choose toast with butter or jam, or you could choose porridge (not both). For a drink you could again choose only one: tea/coffee OR Juice (not both) 5. I paid extra for private balcony. The first two rooms they showed had no balcony. Eventually they showed me a third room which did have the balcony I'd paid for. 6. I asked if I could have a cigarette on my private balcony, I was told yes. That didn't stop a general dogsbody member of staff going ballistic at me for doing just that one evening. 7. Your room is never cleaned during the duration of your stay. I had the misfortune to be there for 5 nights! BOTTOM LINE: Avoid this hotel at all costs!

Beautiful location, family energy and large communal spaces.

We didn’t have access to warm/ hot water in our room. The water wouldn’t warm up after running for some time. Many mosquitoes and continuous noise and hearing everything as walls were paper thin. Not being able to pay by card.
