Very near Munshi Ghat, as Kailash bhaiyya described. Infact Kailash bhaiyya was honest and upfront about the difficulty in reaching for elderly Indians. I implore prospective guests to pay heed to the staff (the family running the guest house) about accessibility, facilities, how best to reach Dashaswamedha ghat, etc. I should have done a better job explaining to my family how the alleys of Benaras are when Kailash bhaiyya had explained the location to me. Then a lot of chaos could have been avoided. I had to make changes to my booking after arriving there, due to my parents' health. Kailaah bhaiyya and his family who run this hotel, helped me with relatively hassle-free cancellation, and with my luggage transport. The best thing about the place was the view of the Ganges from the terrace was mesmerising.

Accessibility is challenging for elderly people, especially Indians who are not used to the narrow, unending, labyrinthine, dirty alleys of Munshi ghat part of Benaras. But this isn't on the guest house itself. For my family the room was a bit too small, and the step size of stairs a bit too high.

"Haven't seen a filthier dorm than this one."

Nothing.

It was too filthy. The dorm was too small like a small kitchen. The beds were filthy. The bedsheet looked like it was not washed for months. Moreover the dorm was on the fourth floor and there was no lift either. I cannot understand why booking.com has an association with this place.

"Wonderful Guesthouse"

Very nice guest house. Perfect location. The room was very nice. Lovely host who takes very good care of his customers. He helped us with everything we needed from shopping to transportation. Also organized us a beautiful boat ride for a fair price. Definitely recommend!

The kindness, availability and help of the 2 owner brothers (to cite just one example: I have been sick and they got me some medicines and took care of me) The rooftop, the restaurant and its views, the location of the property My room was super cosy, i felt like home

Dust because I’m allergic to it but I think it’s the same everywhere in Varanasi
