Good location and the nice view from the balcony.

The view from the roof terrace made this place and really our trip to the Cinque Terre. Views of the town with the harbor and the sea on one side and views of the cliffs and sea on the other were just "Wow". The terrace had comfortable furniture to sit and enjoy it. I don't know if the place wasn't fully booked, but it felt like a private terrace because we never saw anyone else. The room itself was also pretty comfortable and had a window that overlooked a cliff with the sea crashing against the rocks...really a nice sound to sleep by.

They may say that they're a hotel, but to me, it's more like an AirBnB. I booked a "hotel" because I knew we were getting to town before check-in and needed a place to stash our bags while we explored and checked in later. I corresponded with the owner and told him our train arrival time in several e-mails, including one reminder about 30 minutes before arrival and the owner said that he'd meet us at the train. We arrived in town, no owner. We found the room and still couldn't find the owner and the owner didn't respond to messages. Luckily, the maid called the owner and we got in. But once we got over that hiccup, the room was nicer than we expected and the roof terrace was definitely WOW...a highlight of our whole trip. One other thing, the shower was TINY and our son flooded the bathroom so badly that water leaked out of the shower, out of the bathroom, out the door, and down the steps before we realized it. The shower was like the "clam" in the original spinal tap movie and my son must have turned around and nudged the "clam" open and took the rest of his shower without realizing it...leading to the flood. My wife and I also couldn't shower without leakage, but knowing that it was a problem...we managed it better.

I cannot imagine a place with a more beautiful view. Very comfortable room with nice decor, and view cannot be beat. Wonderful and responsive hosts!

Bien placé, Chambres agréables avec vue ( petite fenêtre sur la mer ) et pour les suites la terrasse est accessible donc c est un plus .

Perfect location and roof top terrace incredible. Very comfortable bed and great size. The owners were extremely helpful even offering to assist with our luggage from the train station to the suite which was a life saver!

The in-room refrigerator was quite compact and lacked the capacity to store basic groceries or keep beverages properly chilled.

Virginia was very friendly and helped bring our bags all the way up the stairs. The room was comfortable and a good size. By far the best part was the rooftop terrace with a gorgeous view of the town and the ocean. There were lounge chairs and a shower. It was breathtaking. Location was also fantastic. We were right near the train and in the heart of Vernazza.

The AC turned off at night and was very hot. I think this is all of Vernazza and not just our hotel in particular.

Great ocean view from a window in the sitting room. Nice breeze off the ocean in the sitting room helped keep the bedroom comfortable. I loved the bed; my wife found it a little firmer than she's used to. The rooftop desk was spectacular!

More than 100 steps from the street to the room. We knew there were going to be a lot of stairs but found these a little more challenging than we'd expected when carrying luggage up and down.

Noisy birds but not much anyone can do about that, bring ear plugs!
