Le Bonheur Villa

Excellent hospitality. Dinner was especially good. Very good value for money. Very calm and relaxing as the location is away from the centre.

If you are looking for a modern, Scandi place, this may not be for you. It suited us very well.

The people managing the property and the staff are amazing! Also the location is great, right across a small, but great beach. Also, it’a not far from the airport. As I was travelling by myself over Christmas days for a short stay, Marylene’s family kind of ,,adopted” me, so I didn’t feel alone. The food was great, the chef and also Marylene’s son, Bernard is a great one, the Christmas dinner and lunch were great and the fact that I got to spend it with their family was amazing. This place stole my heart cause of the warmth of the people. Asmita and Vinod who are the employees there was so warm and caring. I promised to return on my next trip there and can’t wait to see everyone again.

Food overall was amazing. The fresh fish for dinner is to die for! Brekfast is also really nice. The stuff working there is just amazing, so nice and warm people. They gave us advices everyday about what we should do and what to visit.

We enjoyed our stay at the villa. It was clean and well located for our plans. The staff was extremely friendly, they were kind and always there for us trying to make you feel at home. Last day, the staff prepared breakfast for us even though we had to leave early in the morning. It’s the small details that make a difference - loved it and very much appreciated it. We really recommend the villa if you want a bit of human warmth, attention, and feeling spoiled.

The room was outdated. We could hardly close the bathroom door, and there was a huge gap between the outside window and walls; you could hear all nature noises (which makes it a challenge to rest).

Our experience at Le Bonheur Villa was truly delightful. The owners were outstanding hosts, and the staff consistently went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

Very good place to stay. Very friendly staff, good breakfast, small but tasty selections for dinner. 15 minutes drive to Victoria and also to other places on the northern part of Mahe. Thank you Marylene, thank you Vinod + wife for a perfect week!

A bit expensive, like most other things on the Seychelles nowadays.

The stay was very pleasant and we also got a better room after the first night. The breakfast was delicious and you could order more if a portion was not enough. The hotel staff (a Nepalese couple) was always very attentive and open to all our requests.

The booking procedure and communication before our arrival was suboptimal. First, we suddenly got charged for the room without prior notice (even thought we had chosen the free cancellation option and still had like 1 month to cancel). When we asked the Villa why they charged us already, we never got a response. 2 days before arrival we also asked about the parking situation and we were told there were plenty of parking spots available, which is not the case, though we managed to always have a parking spot at the end.

Our stay at Le Bonheur Villa has been wonderful. The swimming pool and breakfast are amazing. Chef Bernard cooks really tasty food for dinners. The villa is located in the North, close to Carana beach. It's location allows to catch the bus that travels around the island. It's also possible to arrange excursions in an easy way.
