Boutique Villa Bougainvillea

The room was perfectly clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The pool was also very nice. But above all, I want to highlight how kind and lovely the staff was. They made my stay special!

I booked the single room, and its location was a bit weird, between the reception and the restaurant, and close to the main road. I had to wear earplugs at night. There was no outlet near the bed. Other slight inconveniences worth knowing even if not major: they provide only 1 liter of water every 3 days, which I found unusual. No alcohol is sold at the hotel’s restaurant (despite the photos on Booking).

Amazing location, right across the beach where all the fun and action is, and on the street where all the restaurants are. A large provision store 2,mins walk. Large room Very friendly and helpful staff and the lovely couple who owns it are really sweet. Great breakfast

'Boutique' hotels often mean poor to average facilities and service, but this was not the case here. Although it had only maybe a dozen rooms, it was a big site, with excellent facilities, and with the added benefit of a more personal service. Really, the best 'boutique' hotel we've ever stayed in. Great swimming pool, lovely gardens, excellent breakfast from 7 to 11 (!), and really friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Nous avons adoré cet hôtel très confortable propre et très bien décoré. La chambre était spacieuse et très confortable. Le personnel était particulièrement sympathique en particulier Muru qui s'est énormément occupé de nous. Le petit déjeuner était copieux, la piscine et le jardin très agréable. Pas de bruit. Vraiment très bien . N'hésitez pas ! Une très bonne adresse

Lovely big rooms and bathrooms. Great pool and super big breakfast.

Its location is fantastic: although on the main road opposite Weligama Beach, the rooms themselves are set back and so you hardly hear street noises. The room was a decent size with a large balcony - though there are no real views as it has a building site and buildings next to it. Had 2 single beds which were comfortable with proper duvets; functioning AC; kettle with tea & coffee. We did receive water bottles a few days into our stay. Towels were good quality and plentiful. The staff were the real highlight! They supported with all requests, including getting some laundry done. Breakfast was amazing and included an optional king coconut as well as 4 types of Sri Lankan breakfast options alongside 3 Western options. Food was all freshly prepared and there was Sri Lankan coffee.

Just minor observations: the hairdryer in the bathroom did not work. The outside laundry was extremely expensive in comparison to other places - perhaps consider another provider.

Смачний сніданок - дуже зручно, що сніданок подають до 13ої години, можна сьорфити зранку, а потім отримати сніданок. Привітний персонал завжди допомагав нам. Хороший Wi-Fi. Ми повернулись у цей готель по дорозі назад.

Fantastic stay and genuinely wish we stayed here longer. Mr and Mrs Diaz were lovely and there staff were top tier! Location is also fantastic
