After having explained my situation of booking at a wrong place. The lady I spoke to said "What must I do, there'll be no refund for you." Not even meeting me halfway because it was awkward for me to use their facilities. Very much disappointed.

"I wanted to experience an old-fashioned farm stay and the interior of our room was amazing."

Breakfast was really a bonus, wonderfully prepared and a big spread, reminded me of my grandma's cooking.

The hostess could have taken more time with us, only showed us our room and left. A little bit more interaction would have made all the difference, you know, that unique old "Boere-gasvryheid". Although it was advertised as pet friendly, we got the scare of our lifes when their big dog ran towards our small doggie - maybe keep them behind railings while there are guests.
