Bliss Dhigurah

First, the staff is excellent, very attentive and helpful, they organized almost resort-like experience. We were here mostly for diving and Bliss works with one of the best dive shops on the island. Second, the food was much above our expectations, everything was tasty, especially tuna steaks. The last, but not least - top location within 300 meters to bikini beach.

The room is rather small and not so new as in the photos

Alt var fantastisk bra. Vi fikk en nydelig velkomst. Personalet er fantastiske. Jeg kan ikke huske alle navnene, men Sarah var en av dem og som gjorde inntrykk på meg. Hele tiden gjorde de vårt beste. Frokosten var nydelig. Vi vil absolutt anbefale dette hotellet.

Restauranten er litt dyr.

This place felt very much like a boutique hotel. The decor is cute, the staff is wonderful, communication was seamless, and the location is perfect. It is close to the bikini beach and many restaurants. The evenings are lively with music and dinner offered all around the restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable. It also featured a balcony. In addition, since I was leaving before the breakfast time, they offered me a tasty chicken sandwich to have on the way back to Male.

Everything was perfect. I wish I could've stayed longer! I shall be back.

Das frühe Putzen, die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig.

Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich, üppig und frisch. Das Hotel ist ideal gelegen. Besonders unsere Frühstücksdame Saraswote war immer sehr um unser Wohlergehen bemüht. Das Hotel ist zu empfehlen!

Spa rather expensive.

Unser Aufenthalt im Hopp Drei-Sterne-Hotel hat uns insgesamt sehr gut gefallen. Das Hotel war sehr sauber, das Essen extrem lecker und die Nähe zum Strand einfach perfekt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Personal, das jederzeit sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit war.

Einziger negativer Punkt waren die langen Wartezeiten beim Essen – 30 Minuten waren eher die Regel, oft mussten wir sogar 40 bis 60 Minuten warten. Das war leider etwas enttäuschend.

Locatie is goed, personeel heel vriendelijk, goede kamer. Personeel hielp ook goed tijdens excursie toen ik hulp nodig had.

We stayed at Bliss Hotel for four nights in a family room with interconnected rooms, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were amazing—super friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Before arriving, we had read a few reviews mentioning that the rooms were small, but this was definitely not our experience. Our family room was perfectly comfortable, so we believe those comments must refer to a different room category. The breakfast was fantastic, with a different option every day. During our stay we enjoyed pancakes one morning, scrambled eggs another day, a traditional Maldivian breakfast, and fresh fruits with granola. The juices were delicious, the coffee was very good, and our children especially loved the cold chocolate drink. We joined a whale shark excursion organised by the hotel, which was done by speedboat (they now run all whale shark excursions this way). It was an unforgettable experience—we were able to swim next to a whale shark for a long time. Towels, drinks, and snacks were provided on the boat, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We also went on a manta excursion on a dhoni (a traditional Maldivian boat), where we not only swam with mantas but were lucky enough to see another whale shark as well. A special mention goes to Archana at reception, who was incredibly kind and helpful. She arranged a transfer for us to the tip of the island, which was absolutely beautiful, and also prepared the rooftop jacuzzi for us—an experience we highly recommend. Our room was cleaned twice a day, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and overall everything exceeded our expectations. My husband forgot his charger in the room and they even organise it to deliver it for us to our next destination. We would definitely stay at Bliss Hotel again. Thank you to all the staff for providing us with such an unforgettable stay!
