Narrow passage way going up to the room upstairs as she also operates a doughnut business in front. Nice doughnuts, should try if you are in this area.

Fantastic location. It's right in the middle of Fenqihu, delicious donuts are being sold on the first floor, and there are more hiking opportunities within walking range than we expected. No need to spend time in the pricy forest park to enjoy the cherry blossom bloom. We originally wanted to say in Shizhao (also known as Shihzhuo) but liked Fenqihu much better. We got great Chinese breakfast (congee)!

No breakfast coffee included, although we haven't really asked for any either. The whole area seemed very much tailored towards Chinese speaking tourists. Just figuring out how to get around is hard enough because even official sites can't agree on which trains are currently in service.

When we arrived we found out that the room was mistakenly double booked and that other guests were already there. The owner asked us to move for 1 night to her friend’s place which wasn’t at all as nice as the place we had booked and didn’t have enough beds. We were asked to pay more money then our original booking - to add 500 NTD for for a dirty cold room that had enough beds. The owner of the hotel tried to help but the communication was very difficult, as she doesn’t speak English and we don’t speak Chinese. She was very nice and gave us very good donuts, but still, very difficult to communicate.

The owner Mdm Lin prepared us delicious breakfast and was very attentive to all our needs. The place is well located within walking distance to train station, restaurants and easy access to walking trails. We had a wonderful stay at Yang Yang B&B and would highly recommend it!
