"Quick stopover at Blue Jay Lodge"

Attentive hosts, especially Margie, who was very easy to talk to and very helpful. Spacious room set in a beautiful garden. A delicious generous breakfast. Close proximity to the Phabeni Gate and the Panorama Route

The rooms are a bit dated, including the TV, which felt very small. The windows in the bathrooms also open up into and below the deck of the unit(s) next door, so it felt a bit strange.

The hosts Phil and Margi were very friendly and welcoming. We can't speak highly enough of them, gave us lots of help and advice to ensure we got the best out of our experience in Hazyview. The room was great and the breakfast, very kindly cooked personally by Phil, was delicious! 😋Not forgetting Margi preparing a packed lunch for our early morning trip into the Kruger park. Thank you both very much 🙂

We were greeted by the hosts Phil and Margi, which are super super friendly and nice. The suite we were staying in (the sunbird suite, named after the painting by a Cape Town artist) was amazing, very spacious, and clean and nothing we would have missed. Phil and Margi gave good recommendations for us to use our free time perfectly in and around Hazyview. As we were the only guests for breakfast on our first morning, we were treated especially nicely with a perfect breakfast. Additionally the game drive we did was organized through Phil and Margi which was a no brainer. We would definitely come back again! Thank you!

Serene location, beautiful garden. Accommodation comfortable and tastefully decorated. Super clean with everything you would need. Phill and Margi were excellent hosts. Breakfast was superb! Their recommendations in regard to the area and help with booking excursions is much appreciated!

Nothing we didn’t like. We would return any day!
