Kolition Villa

We absolutely loved our stay at Kolition Villa—it was honestly one of our favorite places in Sri Lanka! From the moment we got there, Suri, the owner, made us feel so welcome. He’s just lovely, always with a smile on his face, and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was perfect—super spacious, really clean, and so peaceful (well, apart from the peacocks, but we actually loved waking up to them!). Plus, the view of the ocean from the balcony was absolutely beautiful—it felt like the perfect spot to relax and take it all in. The location was spot on too. It’s just a short walk to Dickwella Beach, and Hiriketiya is only about 10 minutes away. We personally loved being in a quieter village area, surrounded by local families—it felt really peaceful and gave us a nice break from busier touristy spots. If you’re heading to Dickwella, we’d 100% recommend staying here. Kolition Villa was such a special place, and we’d go back in a heartbeat!

Good walking distance to Dikwella Beach and a tuk tuk drive or hilly walk to Hiriketiya. Was very clean and comfortable with AC. Views of ocean and can watch local monkeys from balcony. I highly recommend a meal at Smoke and Bitters and breakfast at Surf and Spice! The Hoppers down the road are also fresh and tasty!

Kolition Villa is very stylish and clean in a perfect location. Suri is very professional and friendly. Highly recommended!

The owner was extremely helpful and happy to do anything for us. The beds were comfy. The whole place was clean. We had a very quiet, comfortable night. Great location between the two beaches of Hiriketiya and Dickwella.

Great location, just a short walk to the beaches, coffee shops, and restaurants, which made our stay very convenient. The room was spacious and well-equipped, offering plenty of comfort for our trip. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor inconveniences.

The ground floor room we stayed in was a bit noisy in the evenings. Additionally, we noticed quite a few large ants in the room during our stay, which was a bit unsettling.

The staff were super helpful and amazing - did our laundry and got us a tuktuk to our next location at fair prices. The location was perfect, right between both beaches, Dikwella (swimming) and Hiriketiya (surfing).

Great location, comfortable beds, and great hosts. Fast WiFi and great AC.
