Archontiko Mesohori Meteora

We stayed at this hotel for two nights on May 13th and 14th, and it was the best stay of our entire mainland trip. Check-in was very easy and efficient. The staff member who helped us was friendly and informative—he laid out a map of Kalabaka and gave us a clear overview of where to go for sightseeing and recommended restaurants, which was very helpful. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite, which was spacious and beautifully arranged. The room was comfortable and thoughtfully prepared, making our stay feel extra special. The hotel is located uphill, but the owner has placed a clear sign at the nearby intersection to help first-time guests find it easily—a thoughtful touch that made a big difference. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The property was at the end of the village and had nice large rooms and a large bathroom. Konstantinos and his mom Alberta were incredibly nice and hospitable. The room and bathroom had good quality amenities including an option for making tea and coffee. The breakfast was quite good and filling. There are a couple of nice restaurants which are walkable from the apartment. We had dinner at Gardenia restaurant which is highly recommended. We did not have any problems finding the place and it was a great place to visit the monasteries.

Great location with dramatic views. Nearby restaurant was an added bonus for this rural setting.

Rooms could use a decor refresh. Very comfortable space.

Great location and fantastic service from Konstantinos who gave us advice on what activities to do and even lent us walking poles for our trek up the nearby hill.

Bathroom not great with awkward shower and basin that didn’t drain very well. Given the age of the property, it’s understandable but could be improved. Importantly, there was plenty of hot water.
