Bintang Bungalow Tour & Travel

The room was nice and a good value for stay. It's in a great location also and this room is uphill so you do not hear any noise from the street. So we even booked an extra night.

There is no hotel, just some sort of homestay. So the owner is only available for communication via whatsapp and not present. On the plusside: Next door there is also a bintang hotel with reception where they have a restaurant, can do laundry and rent motorbikes.

No warm water

The location was great for the Kelimutu tour and the staff arranged transport to Koka beach. You can get cheap local buses for transit to Ende or Maumere, you just have to wait in the road outside the bungalow and staff will make sure you get on the right bus. The restaurant next to bungalow provides nice food and the staff were friendly

There was a power cut during the first night so had to use a torch in my room. This couldn't be helped though and the power was restored during the night. They didn't provide drinking water and the shower water was cold unless you upgraded your room. The room was small but it was just me so didn't have too much of an issue with this

Great position to visit Kelimutu. The host has been very responsive and the room was clean.

Quite overpriced scooter rental (we paid 150k for a 3-hours rental)

We booked the economy room on booking, but that room doesn't have a window (you don't see that on the pics). Therefore, we changed to a standard room for a small surcharge. The room is okay, the bed is comfortable (but the mattress is too large for the bed frame, so one end is on the frame and therefore higher...), it was clean, warm water works fine. The owner or manager is nice and helpful and the breakfast is tasty.

The room gets quite humid and smells a bit mouldy. We aired often.

I liked the view from the terrace. And thank you, Ibu Sintia, for putting a hot thermos out for my very early morning coffee.

There was a wifi router right outside our room, but wifi was not made available to guests. The shower did not have hot water and the room had no window.
