Cosy cottage-Golden circle

Amazing location, in the middle of the Golden Circle! And more so after our longer day trips to Snæfellsnes and Vatnajökull, it was very nice coming home to such a comforable, little cabin. I'll miss the evenings in the hot tub the most, with just the sounds of the birds in the background and nothing else. The amenities were more than complete for us. For comparison, we are used to our own small camper trailer. So having an Illy coffee machine, hair dryer and such were a nice surprise. Vilhjalmur sent us clear and helpfull information about the route to the cabin, instructions about wifi and the hot tub in advance and checked in on us during our stay.

We enjoyed our stay, everything was perfect! The jacuzzi was wonderful 😊

Gorgeous cottage surrounded by nature. The hot tub is fantastic. Friendly and helpful host.

The accommodation was ok. We managed ok. It was trampoline in the garden and that was good for the kids. Very good instructions given by the owner and we found the house without any problems.

A bit on the small side for a family of 4. Not so much space for luggage. We left the main luggage in the car otherwise you couldn't´t move in the house. The drainage for the shower was slow so we had to be careful with the water so it´is no water on the floor. But this problem we noticed is almost in every accommodation in Iceland.

Perfect place to rest after intense days of getting to know Iceland. You will find everything you need and you will be taken care of by super helfpul Host! Bathtube in the garden was a blast!

No such thing

The cottage is small, but offers enough space for a small family. We found everything very clean. The communication with the host was excellent, detailed directions were provided upfront. The location is amazing, in the middle of the beautiful icelandic nature.

Nothing

We throughly enjoyed our stay in this cottage. The location was central to most of the major attractions on the south coast. It was very clean and the sofa bed was comfortable with a beautiful view of the nature in back of the house. We used the full size bed as a place to keep our luggage organized. There were many nice little touches, like the lovely lavender soap in the bathroom. The little kitchen has all the essentials to cook your own meals and even a spice rack. The host was friendly, quick to answer questions and on our last day brought us some fresh strawberries from his garden! We highly recommend it for your stay.
