Disappointing Experience at Anant Royal Hotel, Vrindavan I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Anant Royal Hotel in Vrindavan, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment with fellow travelers. My visit to this hotel from June 10th to June 11th, 2023, was marred by a series of issues that left a bitter taste in my mouth. Upon checking in on June 11th, my companions and I were assigned two different rooms consecutively, both of which had severe leakage problems in the bathrooms. It was disheartening to encounter such a basic maintenance issue right from the start. The inconvenience caused by the leaking water was not only bothersome but also a potential safety hazard. After expressing our concerns to the hotel staff, we were eventually moved to a third room, which was relatively better in terms of the leaking problem. However, the fact that we had to go through two unsatisfactory rooms before being offered a decent alternative was quite frustrating. We decided to make the most of our stay despite the initial setbacks and embarked on a Goverdhan Yatra. Returning to the hotel around 6:30 PM, we took a well-deserved rest for an hour before setting out for another round of the yatra. To our utter dismay, we discovered upon our return that someone had unlawfully entered our room during our absence and stolen 7000 rupees. The theft of our belongings not only left us feeling violated but also raised concerns about the hotel's security measures. The fact that someone could gain unauthorized access to our room and commit theft reflects a significant lapse in their security protocols. This incident greatly undermined our trust in the hotel's ability to ensure the safety of its guests' personal belongings. Considering the issues we encountered during our stay, I cannot in good conscience recommend Anant Royal Hotel to other travelers.
