泊まる部屋にグランドピアノがあるなんて、世界中のホテルでもレア中のレアだと思います。窓のシャッターを下ろせば夜10時まで練習可とのことで気兼ねなく弾くことができました。YAMAHAの立派なグランドピアノです。 寝具は簡単な布団スタイルでしたが、大きなソファーが座りごごちバッチリでした。 追加でお願いした朝食も美しい盛り付けで、お味噌汁の具はカナダ出身のご主人が採ってきたアサリ！美味でした。 ほかにも坪庭と茶室まであり、外国からのゲストには驚きの日本体験だと思います。私ら日本人にも良い学びになりました。 浴室が広くて、日本風のゆったりしたバスタイムを外国人にも提供出来そう。 道は狭いながら駐車場無料なのが助かりました。ホテルの駐車場とちがって忘れ物もサンダル履きですぐ取りに戻れるので、こんなところも自宅にいる感覚。

Hosts Stan and Hiromi were very welcoming and friendly. It felt like staying at the home of a friend of a friend. Hiromi's breakfasts were amazing and the restaurant recommendations within walking distance lived up to expectations. The abbreviated tea ceremony was an enjoyable bonus. The location is close to public transport.

The description "1-bedroom guest house" is not accurate. We were expecting a separate cottage or apartment. Instead there were three rooms in the house occupied by guests, plus the hosts also living in the house. Our "bedroom" only had a single bed, the second bed was a futon squeezed in around the legs of a grand piano. There was only one parking spot, so when other guests returned to find our car in "their" spot, they were not happy. There was no TV and no air-conditioning for our use - luckily the weather was mild.
