Niagara Mansion Carriage Suite

The building was a historical treat unto itself. Appreciate the owner giving us a personal tour and overview of the history behind the house.

We really like the location in Lewiston.

Should have blackout blinds. You can be seen through the curtains from the outside. Simple vintage like roll down blinds will work.

Great location

The shower looked and felt like a prison. No complementary body wash. The guest house is connected to the main house and you can hear to the other side. Said there was a spare bed but I could not find any sheets or pillow cases for the spare pillows. Seems overpriced for what it was. You're just paying for location.

we loved the spaciousness and cozy comfort of the suite. The bed was very comfortable and its very nicely appointed.Nice tv. Gorgeous grounds.

The water took a very long time to warm up for showers and at the sinks. We had a little trouble with the door lock at first, though the problem seemed to resolve itself.

We enjoyed our stay and were completely satisfied with the great location and the accommodations. The private setting, parking, the beautiful gardens and the spaciousness of the carriage house were all pluses. Entry was easy and we were close to everything the Niagara Frontier and Lewiston/Youngstown area has to offer. Lodgers must remember that this is an older historical building and was built prior to indoor plumbing and electrical wiring so the bathrooms (yes there were two) were a little small compared to today’s standards but definitely adequate although counter space was limited. We didn’t use the TV or the kitchen appliances (other than the fridge )but they all looked new and in good repair. We did notice that when other guests arrived in the main building, WiFi was spotty. Did we enjoy our stay? Yes!!! Will we be coming back and staying again? Yes we will!! Thank you to Diane and her concern for our comfort during this stay.

It was like a small apartment filled with antiques. Bed and linens were great and the sheets had a lovely smell. Full kitchen with coffee maker. Beautiful grounds. Friendly ghosts.

The TV set up was horrendous. No way to get local channels for news and no way to select channel by numbers. It was necessary to use the guide EVERY time to hunt for and select what to watch. It was a real pain. However, everything else is so nice you can overlook it, wrestle with it, go without TV, or bring a smart speaker for music.

The Carrige Suite is part of a beautiful mansion, surrounded by a quiet garden property. The rooms are well done and comfortable.
