Sehr ruhig Lage. Strand mit Fahrrädern gut erreichbar. Sehr gutes Frühstück und Abendessen.

Poolwasser war sehr trüb

The place is ideal for relaxing. A beautiful big garden with a swimming pool, a spacious room with a very comfy big bed. The owner is friendly and he does his best to fulfill every wishes of guests.

Anushka was a fantastic host who went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. He organised a safari to Willpathu at a very reasonable price which included a boat ride on the lagoon! Shelton’s cooking was exceptional and we enjoyed two delicious and hearty breakfasts and dinners of local food. The room and bathroom was very clean and comfortable and AC kept us cool in the nights. We also took advantage of the lovely pool and free bicycles to explore the local area. Everything is done to a high standard and quality and I would definitely return to this beautiful part of Sri Lanka.

wonderful stay at Agro Village! Anushka was an amazing host! One thing that isn’t clear when booking is the air con. We booked 2 rooms and one had air con and the other didn’t, the one without had a fan, but was still extremely hot! Lots of mosquitos at the hotel so make sure to take plenty of mosquito repellent. I enjoyed it so much overall though, the bikes that the hotel have to use is a lovely touch. The traditional Sri Lankan food is so reasonably priced and delicious!!! Have recommended this hotel onto others during my travels too! :)

Ik en mijn vriend verbleven 4 nachten in deze accommodatie aan het begin van onze vakantie. We waren de enige op het resort of in ieder geval geen andere gasten gezien. Er is niet veel in de omgeving qua restaurants dus we hebben alle nachten gegeten op het resort. Veel credits voor de chef (zijn naam vergeten), hij heeft geweldig voor ons gekookt en het was het beste Sri Lankaanse eten na 4 weken in Sri Lanka te hebben verbleven. Alles komt uit de omgeving en elke dag was er weer een nieuwe creatie. Fijn dat het zwembad af was en we daar gebruik van konden gaan maken.

Het is wel een beetje afgelegen van alles, en daardoor was 4 nachten toch een beetje lang. Iets meer relax-plekken zou eventueel fijn zijn zoals een hangmat op het terras (stoeltjes zaten niet zo lekker), bedjes bij het zwembad (mogelijk dat deze nog komen nu het zwembad pas net af was). Een koelkast op de kamer was ook top geweest.

The host is super nice and was supportive although we had some last minute changes. The pool is just fantastic! The houses are very cute and we felt totally comfortable.
