Walk up small road for best views of the pillar. Outside area for sitting in garden.

Very basic. Small room and uncomfortable bed. Lots of food but rather unappealing .The place is surrounded by fruit trees but no fruit or home made jam.

amazing host who was very welcoming and cooked us a wonderful meal (fish and lots of sides) + homemade wine for a very fair price. great terrace to hang out. walking distance to Katskhi Column (be aware that the location for Vaso's on booking is incorrect, use Google instead) Shared but clean bathroom. Marshrutka from Kutaisi (10Lari) can drop you off at the turn to the Column /Vaso's Guesthouse

our twin room was tiny and very simple which is absolutely fine but the beds are a big disaster, they are so worn out that i put my pillow at the feet's end. If you have back problems, it's not a good idea to stay here. Furthermore they keep a dog in their garden and it's on a chain always and it keeps whining and whimpering. that didn't feel right. There's not many marshrutkas going to continue on to Chiatura the next morning, we got one at 9am.

Really calm and relaxing atmosphere, a gigantic amount of food for diner and breakfast!

They cooked us a royal meal.

They sent us the position via WhatsApp but the place is not very clear to reach. Maybe they could put a sign to direct to the place

I was struck by the cleanliness of the house, very comfortable rooms, shower. We communicated with the hostess through an interpreter, but we understood each other perfectly, the hostess clarifies everything and asks questions. We took dinner and it was great, breakfast was prepared at a convenient time for us, there was also delicious homemade wine! We were allowed to leave our things after we left until the evening and you could also wait for a taxi in the house. We will only come to this house! :)

The hosts welcomed us and were friendly. It's a beautiful little place on some farmland off the main road. A peaceful location with chickens and dogs. The next morning, we were offered a bowl of apples picked from their garden.

There was only one issue with the room, which could easily be fixed. The window doesn't have a proper curtain, so it's not possible to get privacy from people on the terrace as it's completely see through. Other than that it's a perfect stay. You would need a car to get there though, it's very far from and towns or villages.

We liked the hospitality of the host family, the meals they prepared for us and we also liked this as unique opportunity to experience life conditions in the Georgian countryside. Also their terrace (with roof) was great place for resting and eating/drinking.

To use the bathroom, we had to go out and walk through the terrace (with roof) to the other part of the house, which was OK in the summer, but during the winter months and bad weather conditions, it can be bit unconvenient. For our communication with the host family we almost fully depended on the Google Translate, even if we had both English and Russian speaking people in our group.

Dinner and breakfast was very nice with home made hygienic wine.
