"Central Killarney gem"

Easy walk to central Killarney. Clean tidy room. Would have been better with a larger bed. room was spacious and well equipped. Host was helpful. Highly recommended for a great stay.

The room looked nice. Good location.

The Tv was not working for the duration of our stay. The shower was rundown and cobwebs in places of sleeping area.

"Not a Bed and Breakfast - just a bed!"

Room was fine, we got a good nights sleep, no problems there. Upstairs room, perfectly suited to our needs. Shower was fine. The premises in general were decent, we hardly saw the owner. Lockbox for late arrivals.

That there was no breakfast, it certainly wasn't made clear from booking that there would be no breakfast provided. The room contained a "breakfast allergy list" which implied there would be breakfast and the dining room was set out - clarity is needed on this. The TV in the room was not working, looking at tripadvisor reviews this has been an issue for a while. There's also a notice about Covid - seriously move with the times, covid is over 5 years at this stage. This really sums up the experience. This place is run on automatic pilot and although the owner might say he hasn't provided breakfast in a while - it really needs to be highlighted on the booking. AND CHANGE THE NOTICES IN THE BEDROOMS TO REFLECT THAT.

"The place is dirty, uncomfortable, and overpriced."

Free parking was the best benefit.

The room was hot and stuffy with no access to a fan or AC control. Breakfast was only included for people part of tours so it isn’t a bed and breakfast. The bed had a hole in the mattress and I wanted to change to a hotel but by the time I realized it was the middle of the night so I slept and woke up with back pain. The room was so dirty I felt the need to check for bed bugs. Dust and mold made my wife cough all day the next day and we ended up reporting this to the owner. He apologized agreeing the room was terrible and moved us but I’m not sure how this place is a 3 star other than positive people are booking. The other room had some mold but better, no AC or fan, and the TV still was no good. This is a 1 star private room with free parking, expect nothing more and bring wipes, bed bug repellent and a mask.
