Cosy Log Cabin - The Dookit - Fife

One of the nicest accommodations I have ever stayed in. Very well done-up, very clean, and very comfortable stay.

There were no blinds for the bathroom window which wasn't frosted glass and looked straight on to the driveway of the cabin's owner. Had to cover it with a towel when having a shower.

The cabin is located in a beautiful garden with plenty of outside space and seating to catch the sun all day. The bed is especially comfortable, the shower is modern and spacious as is the lounge area and smart to. There is a small cooler fridge which had a bottle of milk and a tray of biscuits with coffee and tea. A special touch was the chocolate by the bed. Kimmie is a wonderful host and will go the extra mile and even offered us a lift to the station.

It is a lovely wee log cabin that was warm and cosy! Location was ideal!

Modern, very clean, comfortable, warm and in peaceful, attractive surroundings. Nothing too much trouble for owner, Kimmie who makes you feel very welcome. Extras like toiletries, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, mini fridge etc all provided.

Only very minor observation- could a blind or something be provided for the bathroom window? Only very small window I know and not overlooked, just personal preference 😊

The accommodation was exactly as described - genuinely cosy cabin. Very clean and well maintained. Bed and continental quilt good quality, great sleep.

Vehicle access a little tight, but in keeping with the village.
