Minpaku Yorozuya - Vacation STAY 12905

It was a great experience to stay at Minpaku Yorozuya. It was an interesting experience to live like a local in a tatami room. The owners of the property are very nice and hospitable people. In the owners' house, you can see a large collection of things related to the famous anime "Detective Conan". In addition, the respected owner showed us very beautiful lamps that he makes himself, and in the evening the owners kindly offered us to try a traditional Japanese tea ceremony with a sensei with the opportunity to make our own green tea. They also treated us to delicious baked sweet potatoes and gave us souvenirs related to the anime. It was very nice. At Yura Station, where the property is located, there are many interesting locations dedicated to the anime Detective Conan. If you are a fan of this anime, or just interested in Japanese culture and traditions, you should definitely stay at this friendly house.

Yorozuya-san and wife were our perfect host. His love for Conan was shown throughout the place. Sharing his collection was our main highlight. He help us to bring our luggage to Station near our train time. He drive us to school to see Conan and Ran goes to school statue, which is quite far if you walk. His house was located in front of Ran Statue. He also told us several secrets. I have been here in Conan town several times, and i could say, i usually skipped both statues due to their distances were far from other statues. So I really feel complete on this trip.

I didn't like that we only spend one night in this conan heaven. Gonna be back with more friends for sure.

We stayed in the town for 3 days and 2 nights. This was overall our favorite experience in Japan (among Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Hakuei). The hosts were very hospitable. Once we arrived, they helped us plan the itinerary, recommended places for dinner, held a tea party, and also helped us book a restaurant that needed reservation. On our way back, they also drove us to a further train station, with a few short stops for additional sight-seeing. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, and we could adjust the temperature with air-conditioning. The room felt very traditional (which was great). We slept on Tatami mat. The town itself was also very nice. The Detective Conan (case closed) part of town was very exciting, but even after the museum and themed restaurant/shops closed, the rest of the town was still very charming. We enjoyed walking around and taking in the beautiful scenery at night. In terms of getting to the town, we actually didn’t purchase the train tickets until one day before traveling. We asked our previous hotel and train station information to help us get the tickets, and there was no problem traveling to the town.

The hosts were very lovely and welcoming, providing an annotated map of notable spots around town. Accommodation is very spacious for a single traveller. Lots of Detective Conan goods displayed as well as the hosts' handmade washi/cloth lamps. Rooms and facilities clean and well maintained. Location is convenient as Detective Conan tourist spots, convenience store and dining options are all accessible by foot. Hosts went above and beyond with their service, including a free optional tea class with sensei as well as transport back to the station at the end of the stay. Thank you for the sweet potatoes for the trip back!

Really comfortable place and you can walk to all Conan attractions. Best of all are the hosts who will do everything to make you and especially your kids have a great time. Highly recommended!

This was the best choice we made in all our trip to Japan. The hosts were super nice, and major Conan fans, so we really enjoyed our stay here. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip! Thank you for everything!

Every corner presented a new Conan-themed surprise, from life-sized statues to themed cafes. The town's dedication also attracted fellow Conan fans from around the world, creating a sense of community and shared passion. We wholeheartedly recommend a stay in Conan town to anyone seeking a unique and memorable vacation experience. The town's warmth, its vibrant Conan culture, and its exceptional hospitality will leave you feeling welcomed, entertained, and utterly charmed.

The room is very big and comfortable. It is near to Conan street with a bit of walking, i am able to reach the attractions. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. They adviced me to many places and the route i should take to be able to visit all of the attractions.
