This place is an absolute gem. If you’re looking to relax, disconnect, and snorkel with turtles right at your doorstep, this is the place. Breakfast is served at their bar with stunning ocean views, and everything is fresh and delicious. You can even have lunch and dinner delivered from a nearby restaurant, super convenient and great value for money. Moalboal center is only a short tuk-tuk ride away, but honestly, once you arrive at Sambag you won’t feel the need to go anywhere else. The atmosphere is so peaceful that it became our favorite part of the whole trip. We were lucky enough to meet the owners and even join a bit of their family gathering, genuinely lovely people. And a special mention has to go to Lisa, the heart and soul of this place. She truly cares about making your stay unforgettable and goes out of her way to help you experience the best of Moalboal. Because of her and the whole team, we felt completely spoiled. We moved on to Panglao afterwards and nothing quite compared, that’s how good this place is. If I could give Lisa and the team 100 stars out of 10, I absolutely would. We’ll definitely be coming back again and again.

Far from town

Very hospitable and friendly staff. Each and every one of them. Good energy. Met the owners who are super nice and friendly. Beautiful place. Nice views. Try clean. I was looking for something secluded so this place was perfect for me.

Room is a bit dated (furniture and electronics)

Amazing staff, very friendly, helpful and thoughtful during our 4 night stay. The waterfront location and bar is hard to beat. It's secluded and peaceful, you can snorkel right below and see turtles. Incredible place, they made us feel Iike family. We happened to choose their dive shop partner, so we had return transport with them each day we did diving into the main Moalboal waterfront tourist area.

The place is situated in a lovely spot with very beautiful views of the beach and the sea. However the best thing is the people! Lisa and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made our stay feel so good and comfortable.

Exceptional host - everyone was so polite and helpful... Snorkeling close to the shore was also amazing - corals, turtles, a sea snake (Yellow-lipped Sea Krait) and so many colourful fish in the shallow and calm sea 🐠🐟 I hope we visit again some time!!

The staff is very helpful and nice, offered us a lot of options to go on tours at a very reasonable price, helped us get transportation anywhere we needed You can get food delivered from a very large range of places The place had a beautiful view and perfect for snorkeling, we were able to see turtles and starfish it was amazing, and mostly very quite and peaceful They make the best pancakes very fluffy
