Location and surroundings were beautiful and peaceful.

In terms of service, the check-in was very basic and underwhelming (basically room reveal and not sincerely warm/welcoming), the onus consistently rested on us to keep asking or prompting the staff for service, unrefined table service, expired condiments served to the guests, and the place is only superficially cleaned (but actually quite dirty and desperately needs a deep clean especially the bathroom) and the disclosures around costs for braai setup and firewood left us feeling quite dissatisfied.
