Good place to see the island. At normal home. We had the place to ourselves and never met the staff, but worked fine with leaving out bags.

"Naoshima is amazing but stay someplace else, especially if you have allergies to cats and musty place."

Good location

Was not aware of the amount of cats at the facility. The house smelled of cats and musty. 6 cats staying in one of the rooms. Our allergies went crazy. Need to be in the description. Advertised for a private bathroom but wasn’t. Family used showers while we were there and left it wet. Advertising is misleading. Never saw the proprietor and called to ask a question and didn’t speak English. Didn’t say which room was ours. We just took the one with bedding. Not organized well. Wouldn’t recommend this facility.
