Everything was exceptional. The hostesses were very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble and it was extremely good value for money. I would highly recommend.

I liked everything

Warm and inviting hotel in a truly beautiful setting. By far the friendliest and most welcoming hosts I have ever known. I could not recommend staying here enough, and I will definitely be coming back.

The room had a comfy bed and a nice little balcony with mountain view (due to very bad weather we couldn't use it, unfortunately). Downstairs there is a nice seating area with an oven which we used to get dry and warm up after some very rainy hikes. The guest house is located right at the little stream flowing through Manteigas, so restaurants and shops are right around the corner. (We recommend Infusao, just a couple of steps up the stream from the guest house.) The breakfast was amazing and very extensive, even when only us two were left at the hotel. Best thing: we could pack bread etc for lunch, tea and coffee were always available downstairs, as was the amazing home-made cake. We were looking forward to this after every hike.

The room was pretty small.

I arrived in a rather dishevelled state after a motorcycle accident on the mountain tracks. Josefa and her daughter were extremely helpful and provided icepacks for a swollen hand and ibuprofen gel as well as directions to the health centre. I ended up spending over a week here and was treated like family. I have never known such unconditional hospitality. They even let me leave my motorcycle at their house while I came back to the UK as I was unable to ride for 12 weeks. The accommodation comprises four rooms of which two have balconies. The breakfast provided was comprehensive with most things you could want. All areas of the accommodation were spotless and cleaned every day.

Good location, many places are available by car or even just walking (hiking routes). We had a super friendly welcome with home made cake.

Super breakfast in a cosy enviroment with a very friendly team. Electric charging for cars very near.

Extremely good Service from the owners, perfect breakfast, support with whatever you need! We would come back!!!
