Gerty's

I loved everything about Gerty's, the location was perfect. Quite, excellent access to main road, shopping centres, etc. Seemed to be well secured. We will definitely visit again and have already started recommending it.

Perfect location for the business I had to do in the area. The fact that the area is not afflicted with load-shedding (power outages) is a huge bonus. The hosts were absolutely lovely.

There is a pretty steep stairwell in the apartment which provides access to the kitchen. I did not mind this at all but it would possibly not suit those with mobility issues.

Gerda was so kind to us. She was willing to give us a lift to where our car got stuck. The room was beautiful. The property is lovely, secure, and peaceful. We had a wonderful stay.

No aircon or fans

Very friendly reception, some lovely nearby restaurants, and a nice big bath. At first we were concerned at the lack of heaters and electric blankets, it being the middle of June in the highveld, but the room was surprisingly warm and we slept snug and warm under a thick down duvet. Will definitely consider again for the next date night away from the kid!

The room and the bed were both big and comfortable. All kind of nice little things to make us feel at home. We had a trailer with us and André and Gerda helped us with everything to make it work for us.

The room was a bit cold (in June) so next time, when in winter we will choose for the other room as there is a choice.

Great place to stay and close to all the places I had to be. Friendly staff and owners. Enough room to sit and sleep and very comfortable dont feel crowded.
