TCS on Lynnwood Guesthouse

The room was clean and ready on my last minute booking and it's definitely value for money. Friendly staff

There wasn't something I did not like, I would just recommend that they put a fan in room 12. The room was humid because of the concrete roof.

Location, wasn't far from work. Breakfast was also good

Old furniture and smelly rooms, None hygienic, blanket smells awful

Staff assistance and how they treat customers well. Though the ironing I was offered was very dirty and burnt my shirt with it.

On Saturday, they did not provided towels that were clean nor provided shampoo and soap. Had to buy and use mine.

I stayed at TCS Guesthouse on January 31st, 2025, and unfortunately had one of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve encountered. Service Issues: Upon arrival, the receptionist flatly refused to show me to my room, stating he had “walked up the stairs too much” and wasn’t going to take me. This set an unprofessional tone from the start. Power Outage: When I returned to the guesthouse at 7pm, there was no electricity. I was left standing outside in the rain waiting for assistance. When staff eventually arrived, they were rude and unhelpful during what was already a stressful situation. Breakfast: Despite indicating at check-in that I would have breakfast at 8am (the time they specifically asked me to circle), when I came down in the morning there was absolutely no food left. To make matters worse, when I attempted to make coffee, a cockroach ran out of the coffee machine. This is completely unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint. Overall: Between the poor customer service, lack of basic amenities like power, and serious hygiene concerns, I cannot recommend this guesthouse. There are many other options in Pretoria that offer far better service and standards.
